Second energy zero in less than a year
It is the second major blackout that the island has suffered in less than a year. It happened on September 29, 2019 and affected -as this time- some 950,000 people. On that occasion, the Government of the Canary Islands imposed a fine of 10,039,674 euros on Endesa.
