Cairo – (Masrawy):

Media reporter Ahmed Schubert revealed that the Pyramids Club is negotiating with West Bromwich Albion defender Ahmed Hegazy to sign him next summer.

“The surprise of Pyramids is negotiating with Ahmed Hegazy,” Schubert wrote on his official Twitter page in the early hours of Sunday.

And Hegazy is one of the most important goals of Al-Ahly to support his defense in the coming period, as the international defender has previously been linked to the return of the Red Fort.

The last period witnessed the association of Pyramids with more than one prominent player, the most important of which is the Al-Ahly duo, Sharif Ekrami and Ahmed Fathi, in light of the end of their contracts with Al-Ahmar at the end of the current season, which they are entitled to leave for free.

The 29-year-old played for Al-Ahly in 2015 before moving to West Bromwich in 2017.

It is worth noting that Hegazy started his career with Ismaili in 2009, leaving only Fiorentina, Italy, in 2012.
