The pupils of the elementary school of the commune took part with enthusiasm in the action “one hand one hope” on an idea of Nicole Pétin. The schoolchildren collected various items from their parents and family to offer to the most disadvantaged. Pupils from CP to CE2 distributed the collected donations and put them in a shoe “box” according to the type of people they were most suitable for, gift for men or women or children, girls or boys or homeless. The children of middle classes 1 and 2 took care of wrapping the boxes with gift wrap. About forty gift boxes were brought to the association “Le Phare” of Thionville who will redistribute them to people in need. It was a fine example of solidarity action carried out jointly by children, families and their school.
