The “Barcelona” team, represented by Latvian basketball player Roland Schmidt, secured a place in the final of the season’s final tournament of the Spanish Basketball League (ACB) on Sunday.

The Barcelona club beat Burgos’ San Pablo in the semi-finals with a score of 98:84 (23:17, 20:24, 29:17, 26:26).
Schmidt was allowed to take it quickly by the referee, much to the dismay of the goalkeeper who wasn’t prepared.
The winners were Nikola Mirotich with 18 points, Kail Kuric had 16 points, but Tom Ertel scored 14 points and 11 assists.
Vitors Benite scored 16 points for opponents.
At 21 Vitorija “Kirolbet Baskonia”, represented by Artūrs Kurucs, will compete with the host of the tournament “Valencia” in the second semi-final of Latvian time. The final will take place on Tuesday.
It has already been reported that the group tournament was not won by Bovona “Joventut” represented by Artūrs Žagars.
Also out of the semi-finals was the champion of the previous two years and the most titled team of Spain “Real” Madrid.
The ACB season ended after the March 8 games and the champion is determined in Valencia in a 12-team mini-tournament that started last week.
The format of the season finale provides that in two groups of six teams each, after the tournament of one round, the best two units of each group are determined. The semi-finals continue on Sunday and the final on Tuesday.
