The first offer from the Saudis contained an amount of €100 million, spread over three contract years. Pogba did not agree, but a second offer was immediately made. The Saudis now come with 150 million euros a year. It could be a way out for Juventus as Pogba made just 161 minutes for the club last season.
Pogba himself was still in Saudi Arabia last week, but has since flown back to Europe. He is said to have visited the training complexes of Al Ittihad and Al Ahli there. The latter club also tried to bring its current trainer from Juventus, Massimiliano Allegri, to the club. However, the Italian did not accept the lucrative offer from Saudi Arabia. For Pogba, two of his friends are already playing in the Saudi Pro League with Karim Benzema and N’Golo Kanté.
