Samuel García Announce Anticovid Vaccination for Children from 5 to 11 Years Old

After conducting a work tour in the city of Laredo, Texas, the governor of Nuevo León, Samuel Garcia, reported that starting this week a third stage of cross-border vaccination against covid-19 for children from 5 to 11 years old, on three international bridges.

“Today we announced a third route. Two months ago we started vaccinating adults in Laredo; a month later the second route opens to vaccinate adults and children in McAllen and Mission. Today we open a third route in Colombia to vaccinate to adults and children.

“But do you know what is the best news of all? That this week the vaccination of Neolonese between 5 and 11 years old begins, the only state in Mexico that is going to start vaccinating children between 5 and 11 years of age,” he presumed.

In an interview, the governor specified that this Monday began with a pilot program in this population group, but this week they will begin with the vaccination in the three aforementioned international bridges.

Samuel García said that to date 51,000 adults have been vaccinated and 53,000 children under 18 have also received their doses against covid-19.

“As of today, there are 74,000 Neolonese vaccinated here in the United States, 51,000 adults and 53,000 minors,” he added.
