According to the information provided by the Ministry of Public Health (MSP), today 6,247 analyzes were carried out and 710 new cases of Coronavirus COVID-19 were detected. Of the 710 new cases, 406 are from Montevideo, 89 from Canelones, 44 from Rivera, 26 from San José, 23 from Cerro Largo, 19 from Maldonado, 18 from Rocha, 16 from Paysandú, 15 from Durazno, 15 from Salto, 13 from Tacuarembó, 8 from Lavalleja, 5 from Colonia, 5 from Artigas, 3 from Florida, 2 from Treinta y Tres, 2 from Soriano, and 1 from Flores.

Regarding the epidemiological trace, the outbreaks reported in recent days remain. In all cases, strict epidemiological monitoring is carried out.

Since the health emergency was declared on March 13, 753,084 tests have been processed and 32,378 positive cases of Coronavirus have been registered throughout the national territory. Of that total 23,910 have already been recovered.

Today 13 new deaths from Coronavirus were confirmed in our country. These were 8 patients from Montevideo of 95, 88, 86, 83, 80, 64, 64 and 56 years old; 3 Canelones patients aged 86, 79 and 63 years; an 87-year-old patient from Soriano and an 84-year-old patient from Rivera.

So far there are 311 deaths from COVID-19 in Uruguay.

There are currently 8,157 active cases, that is, people who are developing the disease and 114 of them are in intensive care.

Of the total confirmed positive cases, 1,758 correspond to health personnel. 1,418 of them have already recovered, 337 are suffering from the disease and 3 have died.

As of today in the 19 departments there are active cases.

Clarification: 1 case was eliminated due to his illness outside the country
