Hitekno.com – Although its various products often compete, Samsung have long been a supplier panel for the main screen of the product line Apple. Most recently, Samsung is now reportedly starting production of panels for iPhone 13 Pro.

Apple apparently didn’t just order panels for the iPhone 13 series from Samsung. The technology company also ordered a number of panels from the LG family for this new line of devices.

Reporting from GSM Arena, Samsung’s faster and more energy efficient OLED LPTO is likely to be Apple’s flagship for the iPhone 13 Pro.

In addition, other panel companies, namely LG and BOE, will fulfill orders for other panels for the iPhone 13 that use the OLED 13 screen. LG Display is expected to bring around 30 million panels to the Apple family.

For information, the iPhone 13 series is likely to be launched in four other models. iPhone 13 Mini with 5.4-inch screen, iPhone 13 with 6.1-inch screen and iPhone 13 Pro Max with 6.7-inch screen.

The OLED panels that will be available in the Pro and Pro Max variants use low temperature polycrystalline oxide or LTPO thin film transistor or TFT technology that has been a mainstay of Samsung for a long time.

On-screen LTPO technology allows the device to dynamically adjust the refresh rate depending on the content being displayed. This makes the device more power efficient.

On the other hand, the OLED panels that LG is working on for the iPhone 13 Mini and iPhone 13 will carry the type of low temperature polycrystalline silicon or LTPS TFT which has a refresh rate of 60 Hz.

After receiving panels from Samsung, it is undeniable that the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Series will be introduced in a short time. Unfortunately, Apple still hasn’t spoken about this.
