Samsung is spearheading the laptop range – here is the Galaxy Book 2 Pro

The big Mobile World Congress has started in Barcelona – and one of the players that usually launches something new in connection with it is Samsung. This was also done this year, when the focus was on the new laptop segment – the new Galaxy mobiles we have already seen.

Samsung, which has been selling computers in Sweden again for a couple of years, launched instead Galaxy Book 2 Pro Series, consisting of a “regular” Pro 2 model with 5g support and one with S-Pen support and screen that can be flipped in 360 degrees. The computers are designed for the “hybrid working life” and have, among other things, been equipped with crisp 1080p webcams that have also been given a more generous wide angle. Wifi 6E is also on board.

Otherwise, these are mostly obvious updates, such as brand new 12th generation Intel i7 / i5 processors, faster memory and USB-c ports that support the Galaxy series universal charger. These are also the first consumer computers to meet the requirements of Secured Core, Microsoft’s hardware-insulated security requirements specification adapted for Windows 11.

We are real fans of the Galaxy Book Pro series since before. Last year, Mattias gave full pot when he tested the 13-inch model, and even if he did not praise the 360 version just as much so it’s clear that Samsung is making some of the sharpest and slimmest laptops right now.

Galaxy Book 2 Pro gets an entry price of SEK 13,490, while Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360 costs from SEK 14,490. The computers will be released for sale in April.
