Fans of the Galaxy Note model series from the Korean manufacturer Samsung have reason to be sad. Information about the end of smartphones with the iconic S Pen stylus appears regularly throughout 2021, however, loyal fans still hoped that the Korean giant would pleasantly surprise them.
Unfortunately, this did not happen – instead, Samsung stopped producing the model Galaxy Note 20 a Note 20 Ultra, which is the last representative of its series. As the Seoul company did not announce another successor, the entire Galaxy Note line can be considered closed.
In 2021, Samsung sold about 3.2 million devices Galaxy Note 20, about a third of what it managed to sell in 2020. Although there is a relatively strong cult in the professional community and among mobile enthusiasts about the Note series, it is clearly not a strong enough group to make it worthwhile for Samsung to keep the line alive.
The gradual decline of the popular series may be due to the advent of the equipped model Galaxy S21 Ultra (and its predecessor Galaxy S20 Ultra), bet on flexible smartphones Galaxy Z Fold 3 a Flip 3 and, last but not least, the end of the exclusive S Pen support in the case of the Note series, for which it was a key element and whose support was given to both the model S21 Ultrayes With Fold 3.
