The second-generation Galaxy Fold – which will be called Galaxy Z Fold 2 for range consistency – is expected to go on sale next month. During its Unpacked event, to which the South Korean firm presented with great fanfare its new Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra, we were treated to initial illustrations and features of the foldable smartphone.
But nothing as to the date of marketing and prices has been formalized, the evocation of the product having taken place at the end of the conference. As an appointment, Samsung still mentioned the date of the 1is September. An online conference could thus take place and the new Galaxy Z Fold 2 could be the main object.
Since then, according to Evan Blass – known on Twitter for revealing information about future smartphones – Samsung is expected to preorder the Galaxy Z Fold 2 on September 2, for release on September 18. Note also that this (unofficial) information refers to the American market, as recalled by our colleagues from Tech Radar.
Will we be able to see Samsung apply the same schedule for Europe? The odds are high. A few weeks ago, several South Korean media had already mentioned the date of September 18.
