Samsung Galaxy S9 in price slump: Android smartphone is getting cheaper

The Galaxy S smartphones are probably Samsung’s most popular cell phone series. It has been observed more than once with the Galaxy S models that the smartphones become noticeably cheaper in the first few months after release. The drop in prices for the Galaxy S9 was particularly marked: around a month after its release, the S9 was only barely 690 euros cheaper at the cheapest dealer. It was already around 20 percent below the recommended retail price of 849 euros.- In the meantime – around one and a half years after the release and also as a result of the market launch of Galaxy-S10 series – there are already offers below the 500 euro limit.
