The Samsung Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+ are victims of a huge leak. Their official characteristics are floating around on the web.
After the Galaxy S23 Ultra, it is now the turn of the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+ to fully reveal themselves. The website Winfuture got their hands on the data sheets and a marketing visual appeared on this account Twitter. What are the differences between the two Samsung smartphones?
Galaxy S23 vs Galaxy S23+ – screen
The appearance of both devices is identical. Samsung plays the card of a clean design and no frills. The first obvious difference is the size of their screen.
The Galaxy S23 has a 6.11-inch AMOELD panel with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels or 425 dpi. the Galaxy S23+ inherits a slightly larger slab with a diagonal of 6.6 inches. The panel retains the same Full HD+ resolution with a pixel density that logically drops to 393ppp.
Unlike the Galaxy S23 Ultra, the two smartphones do not have an LTPO 3 panel. The refresh rate only varies from 48Hz to 120Hz. The screen is protected by a layer of Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and it supports HDR10+.
The processor
Like the Galaxy s23 Ultra, the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+ run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. In both cases, there is 8GB of DDR5 RAM alongside it.
The two smartphones differ in storage capacity. The Galaxy S23 is offered with 128GB or 256GB. The Galaxy S23+ goes to 256GB and 512GB.
The picture
The Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+ camera welcomes a new main camera. They both incorporate a 50MP 85° sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and a 23 millimeter focal length and improved autofocus.
It is accompanied by a 12MP ultra wide-angle with a 120° field of view and a latest 10MP sensor which gives them an X3 optical zoom. Both smartphones are capable of recording videos in 8K/30ims or 4K/60ims.
The batteries
The batteries of both devices are somewhat larger than those of their predecessors. The S23 has a battery with a capacity of 3900mAh compatible with 25W charging.
The S23+ is more spoiled with a 4700mAh battery. The latter accepts 45W charging.
