VIVA – Producer laptop Acer has just announced its newest product that was born from a collaboration with National Geographic, namely the Acer Aspire Vero National Geographic Edition.
This laptop displays the distinctive character of National Geographic from the packaging to the body of the device itself.
Consumer Notebook Product Manager Acer Indonesia, Matius Tirtawirya, said that this exclusive laptop is very unique because it has the theme eco friendly or environmentally friendly.
“The body is made of plastic post-consumer recycled (PCR). The hallmark of this laptop is on the top bumper. So we made an exclusive design of a geographical map depicting land and sea surfaces whose colors have a special message where environmental issues also occur a lot in coastal areas,” he said, in a virtual press conference, Tuesday, February 15, 2022.
As much as 30 percent of the PCR material is on the bottom of the laptop to make the device save 21 percent of CO2 emissions. Meanwhile, 50 percent of the PCR is implanted in keycaps that have a message for users to always take care of the Earth.
Acer Aspire Vero National Geographic Edition is also designed to adapt to the needs of the Earth. Users can disassemble it easily for specification upgrades.
The device is also declared Paint-free or paint-free.
