The Samsung Galaxy F42 5G debuts, i.e. a medium with a 90 Hz screen, a 5000 mAh battery and up to 8 GB of RAM. How was the smartphone priced and do we have a chance for a Polish premiere? Let’s also take a closer look at its specifications.
Samsung Galaxy F42 5G specification
The heart of the Galaxy F42 debuting today was the layout MediaTek Dimensity 700 with 5G connectivity. The processor is supported by 6/8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory. Galaxy F42 works on Android 11 with the OneUI 3.1 overlay.
The smartphone screen is a 6.6-inch IPS matrix with a resolution Full HD+ (1080 × 2400 pixels), as well as a refresh rate of 90 Hz. A capacious 5000 mAh battery will support fast charging of not the highest power – only 15 W.

The triple camera module with:
- 64-megapixel main sensor,
- 5-megapixel wide angle,
- 2-megapixel depth sensor.
- At the front, the manufacturer put on an 8 MP selfie camera.
There was also a fingerprint reader on the side, dual-SIM, Bluetooth 5.0 or audio jacket. The dimensions of the device are 167.2 × 76.4 × 9.0 mm.

Price and availability
Samsung Galaxy F42 was priced in India at 20.999 and 22.999 Indian rupees, depending on the memory variant. So after conversion it gives about PLN 1100-1230. The smartphone makes its debut in blue and black shades.
It is true that the Galaxy F42 will not be launched in Poland, but another model is available in our country, very similar to the debuting smartphone (the difference is a camera of 48 MP instead of 64 MP). It is, of course, about Galaxy A22 5G, which we can buy in Poland even for 1050 zlotys.
