Soccer champions Red Bull Salzburg have signed Ivorian Oumar Diakite from ASEC Mimosas (Ivory Coast) until 2026.
The 18-year-old central midfielder will initially be part of the Salzburg farm team FC Liefering as a cooperation player. Diakite has been used four times in the African Champions League, scoring once.
He played twice for Mimosas in the CAF Confederation Cup, also scoring one goal.
