Singer Safia Nolin filed a complaint with the Montreal Police Department following harassment on social media, a month after publicly denouncing the sexual misconduct of host Maripier Morin.

According to the information gathered by our Bureau of Investigation, the singer-songwriter presented herself last Thursday to the neighborhood station 44, in the Rosemont borough, to meet the investigators.
The 28-year-old woman reportedly filed a statement complaining about Internet users whose comments on social networks amounted to criminal harassment.

“The police took it seriously,” said a source familiar with the events.
