Summer is well advanced and it’s already starting to smell a little like hockey. While waiting for the start of the 2022-2023 season in the NHL, the Stanley Cup continues to travel the world, stopping at those who have earned it.
We know that at this time of year, the precious trophy is used to seeing all the colors. It is tradition. Players use it in all ways, even as a poutine bowl.
This week, the Cup was in the capital of Saskatchewan, birthplace of Ryan Murray.
After taking a walkabout in his old hometown, the Avs defender stopped at Regina General Hospital, in the pediatric wing.
A nice visit for hospitalized children.

There is no denying that Ryan Murray is a good guy. We wish him success next year, and not too many visits to the infirmary. Last season, the 28-year-old Canadian played only 37 games in the uniform of his new team, due to injuries.
