KIEV – Four people were killed in Friday’s attack by Russia on the densely populated cities of Kryvyi Rih and Kherson in central Ukraine. 76 missiles were fired. The Ukrainian military leader claimed to have shot down 60 of them.
This is considered to be the most powerful missile strike ever by Russia. A missile hit a residential complex in Krivi Ria, killing 3 people. One person also died in Harsan. Meanwhile, Russian officials in the occupied zone said 12 people had been killed in the bombing of Ukraine.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Russia has other deadly weapons. He has asked the Western allies to provide Kiev with better air defense systems. Russia is also accused of planning a more powerful attack by early next year.
Russia has launched a massive attack on Ukraine’s electricity supply system. The electricity minister revealed that 9 power plants were damaged. The electricity supply is disrupted in the country. Ukraine’s second largest city, Harkiv, has also been hit by power outages.
