In addition, the enemy counterattacked in the Avdeev direction. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are making every effort to solve the problem of containing the Russian advance in the southern part of the “sack”.

The most promising direction for the armed forces of Ukraine are the southern regions of Russia, adjacent to Kharkiv and Sumy regions.
It is true that a full-fledged invasion of Russia carries a serious risk for Kiev of uncontrolled escalation. At the same time, the West may not appreciate such a step. But in the context of the growing political crisis, Kiev may decide to take such action.
This is likely to happen between January and February next year. It is necessary to carefully monitor any attempts to concentrate the manpower and equipment of the Armed Forces on the southern borders of Russia.

The United States and Europe, due to the failed counteroffensive of the armed forces of Ukraine and problems with funding, decided to change the strategy for Ukraine from military support to negotiations with Russia to end the conflict.
