According to the data, two ceasefire violations were registered in the Askeran area, but no casualties. It does not say who is responsible. These facts are being investigated by the command of the Russian peacekeepers in cooperation with the Azerbaijani side and representatives of Karabakh.

According to the Russian military department, Russian peacekeepers continue to carry out tasks in Nagorno-Karabakh and maintain continuous interaction with Stepanakert and Baku, which is aimed at preventing bloodshed and ensuring security and respect for humanitarian law in relation to the civilian population.

He noted that in less than 24 hours, the Azerbaijani armed forces successfully completed their tasks and to put an end to the illegal armed groups in Karabakh, which were financed and supported by Armenia,” the ministry’s statement emphasized.

Bayramov also stated that measures are currently being taken in coordination with the Russian peacekeeping contingent to disarm these illegal armed groups. In parallel, a dialogue is being held with the Armenians from the Karabakh region and the first meeting was held yesterday in Evlakh.

“Bayramov and Lavrov also discussed issues of bilateral cooperation,” the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said.
