Russian Guard Deputy Head Arrested in Fraud Case Involving Falsified Examination

Alexei Snegirev, deputy head of the State Expertise Center of the Russian Guard, has been arrested in a fraud case. He is suspected of making a false examination.

He announced this on Saturday, June 10 in his Telegram– channel deputy of the State Duma Alexander Khinshtein. He explained that the arrested person is responsible for organizing and conducting the state examination of the design documentation for the objects of the National Guard and the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

“Yesterday, Snegirev was detained by officers of the Main Investigative Directorate of the TFR in Moscow with the forceful support of the FSB and the National Guard. His office and home were searched. That same evening, Snegirev was arrested for 2 months. the deputy said.

He noted that the ex-head of the capital construction department of the logistics department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is also involved in this case. He expressed confidence that the Snegirev case would not be the last in a series of revelations of “werewolves” within the Russian Guard.
