Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Andrei Rudenko denied accusations against the aggressor state regarding the export of grain by Russians from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. He made the corresponding statement during a conversation with reporters on Wednesday, May 25, transmits RIA Novosti.

“I completely reject this. We don’t steal from anyone.“, Rudenko said.

At the same time, he pointed out that the Russian Federation is cooperating with the UN to resolve the issue of grain supplies from Ukraine, which became impossible due to the blocking of Ukrainian ports by Russian ships and the mining of the Black Sea.

“I have already said on this subject that we are interacting with the UN on these issues. This issue was discussed in detail during the visit of (UN Secretary General António) Guterres to Moscow. Further consultations are underway on how the UN can help in this situation,” said Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation.

At the same time, Rudenko indicatedthat Russia can help resolve a potential food crisis and provide a safe corridor in the Black Sea for the export of grain if the sanctions imposed on, in particular, Russian exports and financial transactions are lifted from the aggressor state.

“The solution to the food problem requires an integrated approach, including those related to the lifting of sanctions restrictions, which were imposed on Russian exports and financial transactions, and also requires Ukraine to clear all ports where ships are docked. Russia is ready to provide the necessary humanitarian passage, which it does every day,” Rudenko said.

Recall that on May 10, Ukrainian intelligence reported that Russian military export Ukrainian grain from Kherson, Kharkiv and Zaporozhye regions to the territory of the occupied Crimea and to the Russian Federation.
