Termination of data transmission from the Zaporizhia nuclear plant
Meanwhile, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) is concerned about the abortion of automatic data transmission from the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant, which was taken by Russian troops. The day before, the connection to the monitoring devices in the former Ukrainian nuclear power plant Chernobyl had already been lost. Both sites stored large amounts of nuclear material in the form of spent or fresh nuclear fuel, the IAEA said.
