Russia said its attack on a fuel storage facility (BBM) near the Ukrainian city of Lviv used cruise missiles and long-range missiles.
The Russian Ministry of Defense (Kemenhan) said the attack on the oil storage facility was carried out with long-range missiles. Meanwhile it also used cruise missiles to attack a factory used to repair anti-aircraft systems, radar stations and tanks in Ukraine.
“The armed forces of the Russian Federation are continuing their offensive as part of a special military operation,” Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said in a statement.
The Russian Defense Ministry also showed a video of the missile attack in Lviv.
“Russia also used long-range missiles from the sea to destroy the arsenal of S-300 missiles and BUK anti-aircraft missile systems near Kiev,” the ministry continued. “Russian forces also destroyed several Ukrainian drones,” he said.
Regional governor Maksym Koztsky put the injured at five people in an attack near Lviv on Saturday (26/3) yesterday.
Thick plumes of smoke could be seen in the city center. Residents of Lviv were also seen standing outside their homes watching the dark clouds billow in the wind.
