Russia announces the construction of 8 new Su-34s

Hundreds of Russian Air Force fighter jets have been shot down by Ukrainian anti-aircraft fighters over the past nine months. Dozens of Russian pilots died or were taken prisoner by Ukraine.

For the year 2022, the Russian aviation industry reports the construction of 8 Sukhoi Su-34 fighter aircraft. But in the illegal war of aggression against Ukraine alone, the Russian Air Force has so far lost at least twice the number of this type, i.e. 17 aircraft.
