Zavion Davenport, as his real name is, had an autoimmune disease. After kidney failure, he ended up in hospital. Ultimately pneumonia was fatal. In a heartbreaking message on Instagram, his family shares his last words’never give up‘ were.

ChiChi DeVayne was a nominee in the hit show’s eighth season RuPaul’s Drag Race, which can be seen via Netflix in the Netherlands. She also participated in an All Stars variant of the program. The show’s host, RuPaul herself, also responds to the sad news. “My heart has been broken since knowing that Chi Chi DeVayne passed away. I am so grateful to have come to know her and her beautiful soul. She will be sorely missed, but never forgotten.”
