Watch out! Poczta Polska and the National Broadcasting Council check people who bought a TV set but did not register it and impose heavy fines on them for not paying the RTV subscription.
Everyone has to pay the RTV subscriptionwho have a radio or TV set (this applies to a house, apartment or even a car!). The subscription fee is charged once, no matter how many devices we use.

From 2021, monthly fees for RTV subscription go up and amount to:

- PLN 7.50 for radio (currently PLN 7),
- PLN 24.50 for the radio with a TV set (currently PLN 22.70).
IMPORTANT! The fee paid to cable, satellite or digital platforms does not exempt from paying the RTV subscription! We pay the subscription fee for the use of a radio or TV set, and not for the content of the broadcasted programs.

- PLN 14.60 for two months;
- PLN 21.60 for three months;
- PLN 42.80 for six months;
- PLN 81.00 for the entire calendar year.
Radio fee with TV:
- PLN 47.50 for two months;
- PLN 70.60 for three months;
- PLN 139.70 for six months;
- PLN 264.60 for the calendar year.

Exemptions from paying the RTV subscription in 2021 are available to:

- people who are 75 years of age.
- poor retirees
- first group invalids
- persons with a certified total incapacity for work
- people with severe disabilities
- persons who receive nursing benefits or a social pension
- deaf people
- blind people
- persons over 60 years of age and entitled to a pension, the amount of which does not exceed 50% monthly
average wage in the national economy in the preceding year - people who meet the income criteria specified in the Act on family benefits
- people who use cash benefits from social assistance
- unemployed people
- persons entitled to pre-retirement allowance
- people receiving Carer’s Benefit
- war and military invalids
- kombatato who are war or military invalids

How and by when to pay the RTV subscription in 2021?

The subscription must be paid in advance by the 25th of the month for which the payment is due.

An outstanding RTV subscription expires after 5 years from the moment the debt arose. This means that if you have not paid your subscription since January 2016, the first month of delay expires in January 2021, not the entire five-year debt!
