A campaign is being promoted on social networks to boycott the digital music and podcast service platform.
On November 17, the Spotify platform announced that it will premiere a new original podcast called “Uribe, Acorralado. An investigation by Daniel Coronell ”. The news did not go down very well with a group of followers of the former president, who immediately reacted on social media.
After the publication, these users in the last hours have tried to promote a campaign to stop following the Spotify Colombia account (@SpotifyColombia) on Twitter. Others went further: they blocked it and this was revealed through screenshots that they shared showing their dissatisfaction with this new program.
This Monday, the day the first episode of the podcast was launched, which is in a documentary format, the messages that try to boycott Spotify were revived.
