Roy Suryo claimed to have received an answer to the application for protection from Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK). The recommendation letter stated that Roy Suryo could not be prosecuted because of his capacity as a witness and reporter.
It was conveyed Roy Suryo after visiting the LPSK office. He said the recommendation had been issued by the LPSK on July 18, 2022.
“Coinciding with 54 years of my birth, the LPSK recommendation was issued and most importantly mentioned in Article 10 paragraph (1) and (2) of Law Number 31 of 2014 of the LPSK regarding the protection of witnesses and victims which suggests that LPSK is intended to provide protection and cannot be protected. prosecuted, if there is a demand then must wait until the case gets permanent legal force or inkrah“explained Roy Suryo at the LPSK office, Ciracas, East Jakarta, Thursday (21/7/2022).

“So our case must be processed first until it is finished. clear until when there is a claim against me. Until this first maker clear I know who, and my friends also know that last July 14, I explained in detail who was actually behind the 3 accounts,” he continued.
Roy Suryo said he only received a copy of the LPSK recommendation. Meanwhile, the LPSK recommendation letter was addressed to the Director of Criminal Investigation at the Metro Jaya Police as an investigator related to the case reported by Roy Suryo.
“We will only receive a copy, but the letter will be addressed to the Polda Metro Jaya who examined our case and also the point is to what Mr. Pitra Romadoni (lawyer) said about the existence of Article 10 paragraph 1 in the LPSK Law,” said Roy Suryo.
