In the Lithuanian Futsal A League, the first semi-final match began on Tuesday. In Jonava, the local “Vikingai” hosted the players of FK “Saulės krašto”. The hosts managed to win the first match with the result 3:1.
“Vikings” managed to start the match well – in the 4th minute, Ukrainian Maksym Avetysian put his team ahead, and in the middle of the half, another Ukrainian, Ihoris Mandur, doubled the lead. There were no more goals in the first half.
The Vikings also started the second half well – in the 26th minute, Vladimir Derendiaev scored another goal for the Vikings.
Aivaras Bagočius softened the score in the ranks of “Saulės kraštos” in the middle of the half, but that was all the guests managed to do.
The teams will play the return match in the gymnasium hall of Viekšniai next Saturday – March 18.
