Rosario registered 35 new cases of coronavirus, and in the province of Santa Fe there were 62

Rosario today added 35 new cases of coronavirus, while in everything the province confirmed confirmed infections were 62. With these records, those infected in the city since the beginning of the pandemic amounted to 660, while at the provincial level 1,431.

With these 35 new cases, the city of Rosario has 293 cases in the last eight days, which clearly marks the acceleration of the contagion curve, which is what they have been marking from the provincial and municipal health portfolio, who in turn insist with extreme precautions in these weeks that, apparently, show the peak of infections in Santa Fe.

Of them, the record was shown on Saturday when 54 infections were notified.

These 293 cases represent 44 percent of the total number of infections that the city had since the start of the pandemic, which is 660.

Of today’s 35 cases, 15 were in contact with a confirmed case, while the remaining 20 are under investigation to determine the epidemiological link.

In this regard, it must be remembered that the health authorities admitted two days ago that there is community circulation of the virus in the Rosario department, so they emphatically recommended avoiding crowds, using the chinstrap and face mask, and above all maintaining social distance.

With these numbers, the total number of cases in Santa Fe since the start of the pandemic is 1,431.

Of the remaining 28 cases, the most disturbing remains that of the city of Casilda, which today reported 8 positives. One was in contact with a confirmed case, while the other seven are under investigation.

There were also 3 in San José de la Esquina, 2 in Villa Gobernador Gálvez, 2 in Helvecia, 2 in Arequito and 2 in Zavalla. Of these cases, 2 of those from San José de la Esquina and those from Helvecia and Zavalla were in contact with a confirmed case; while one from San José de la Esquina, and those from Villa Gobernador Gálvez and Arequito are under investigation.

The remaining positives occurred in: 1 in the city of Santa Fe (under investigation), 1 in Funes (under investigation), 1 in San Lorenzo (under investigation), 1 in Pueblo Esther (under investigation), 1 in Arroyo Seco ( under investigation), 1 from Fuentes (contact with confirmed case), 1 from Totoras (contact from confirmed case) and 1 from Venado Tuerto (contact from confirmed case).

With these numbers, the total number of cases in Santa Fe since the start of the pandemic is 1,431.
