Rosario Murillo announces loans for hospitals and takes the opportunity to throw “darts” at feminist groups

One day after attacking what she calls “imperial powers,” the vice-dictator and government spokesperson Rosario Murillo came out announcing that international organizations have approved, “by the divine grace of God,” more than one hundred million dollars in loans so that your government invests them in health projects.

In his customary daily monologue through the media of government propaganda, Murillo reported that the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI) approved a loan of “114 million dollars for seven health units to improve their care capabilities.”

According to the spokesperson of the regime, 85 million dollars were approved by CABEI and 29.55 million more will be provided as loans by the Export Credit Agency of the United Kingdom (England), and will be invested for improvements in Bertha hospitals Calderón de Managua, San Juan de Dios, from Estelí; Manolo Morales, from Managua; César Amador Molina, from Matagalpa; Asunción, from Chontales, and Humberto Alvarado, in Masaya.

The vice-minister also explained that CABEI approved 40 million dollars for the expansion of the electrical transmission system and said that these financings are “prodigies of God for the work of the Government,” always relying on their supposed religiosity to praise his administration, which is accused of crimes against humanity and of keeping those who oppose her under constant repression.

Murillo said that he thanked the international and national organizations that worked to make this type of financing possible, without referring to imperial powers or “arrogant metropolises” as he usually says to developed countries that demand that the Ortega-Murillo dictatorship respect the institutionality and human rights.

Just a day earlier, when reacting to the approval by the United Nations Human Rights Council of a resolution in which he again demanded respect for the fundamental rights of Nicaraguans, Murillo had railed against developed countries calling them imperial powers.

«This is our homeland, this is our land, this is where we were born, where we live and where we create a future. We are not sons of dominion, that imperial powers have been destroying the world over the centuries and even more so now with such arrogance, “said Murillo.

And always attacking the international community, Murillo pointed out that “they have very little of a community, because they do not understand, and especially the powers used to dominate, to humiliate; They do not understand that this world is another and that it can no longer dominate or humiliate as before and that each country and each people has a conscience and that it is up to each country and each people to follow paths, build and develop our models without arrogant voices that want us indicate the course of your convenience, not ours.

By announcing the alleged investment in hospitals and the graduation of 19 specialists in perinatology (evaluation and treatment of high-risk maternal-fetal pregnancies) who studied for a year to reduce maternal mortality, Murillo took the opportunity to unleash his darts against feminist groups and women’s rights defenders whom the regime’s spokeswoman has repeatedly accused of promoting abortion and dividing families.

«The fight for health is a fight for life, defense of life, and from the womb; We believe in family, we believe in life, we are promoters and defenders of our traditional values in something as essential as the family and what life is like from the womb. They are positions of principles of our Government and of our project of common good “, said the second in command of the dictatorship.
