Transfer process Cristiano Ronaldo from Juventus to Manchester City reported to have been completed and just waiting for an official announcement.
This was reinforced by the upload of a well-known journalist from Portugal, Goncalo Lopes, who was quoted by a number of international media including Sport Bible.
“Ronaldo and Manchester City have agreed. Ronaldo has spoken to Guardiola. Now it’s all in his hands [Jorge] Mendes and Juventus,” Lopes wrote on Twitter.
“Ronaldo believes Manchester City is currently his best option to win another title before heading to MLS,” Lopes added.
AS reported that Jorge Mendes, Ronaldo’s agent, was in Turin today to carry out the negotiation process. Mendes has reportedly made a deal that Juventus can’t refuse.
Ronaldo still has one season left on his contract at Juventus. But at the end of last week CR7 was said to have expressed his desire to feel the atmosphere of competition in the Premier League again.
Ronaldo’s transfer to Man City has become even more real because Harry Kane, who has been Man City’s main target, has closed the door. Kane will stay at Tottenham Hotspur this season.
