The Eastern Police District informs via Twitter that they were notified of the robbery at 18.02 and that they are now on the scene and searching for five young perpetrators in the area.
– We have control of two of the suspected perpetrators and these are now being questioned at the police station. There are also three other named boys that we are working to get in touch with, the head of operations in the police, Marit Furuseth, informs Romerikes Blad.
In total, four of the young perpetrators will now be taken care of. The age of the perpetrators must be around 16 years, the police report further.
– It has been a robbery, but we are unsure of the details and have not been able to determine clearly where, other than that it has been inside the mall, says the task leader.
At present, the police believe that the robbery must have taken place at the store Kjell & Company, but this has not yet been confirmed.
– There will be a gang of underage boys of around 16 years, who have been robbed. We have been in contact with four pieces that we consider offended, Furuseth continues.
Operations manager Kari Monsen, tells RB that there is nothing to indicate that physical injuries have occurred as a result of the robbery.
Task leader Furuseth explains that the police take the incident extremely seriously, both on the basis of the young boys’ age, but also on the basis that a robbery was committed.
