Roger Federer’s shoe manufacturer On is opening a store in a prime location in Zurich – a traditional store has to move out

The sporting goods manufacturer presents good figures. He is now planning to open a large store in Zurich’s old town. More could follow. A music store with tradition, on the other hand, can no longer afford the location.

The running shoe company On has recently been criticized, for example because of allegedly incorrectly declared goods and above-average margins. Customers don’t seem to care: Last year, On increased sales by 47 percent to 1.79 billion francs. Net profit was 80 million francs, 38 percent more than the year before.
