Roger Federer’s four records that cannot be broken

Roger Federer is a tennis legend, with a professional history spanning over 20 years. During all these seasons, the Swiss Maestro won 103 titles, including 20 Grand Slam tournaments.

There are, however, four other records that Roger holds, which, most likely, will not be matched and broken in the future. Federer has reached 36 consecutive quarterfinals in the Grand Slams.

From Wimbledon in 2004 to Roland Garros in 2013. This record was stopped in the second round of the All England Club in 2013 after the defeat against Sergiy Stakhovsky. Maestro Suisse also played 23 consecutive semi-finals in the Majors.

An even more impressive number compared to that of other champions, of his time and previous eras. He reached consecutive semifinals at the Wimbledon Majors in 2004 until Roland Garros in 2010.

Another record is his 10 consecutive Grand Slam finals. The starting point is still Wimbledon: this time, it starts from the 2005 edition of the Championships until the Australian Open in 2008 where Roger was beaten in the semifinals by Novak Djokovic.

Finally, the record is really impressive. In fact, he has won five consecutive titles in two different Grand Slam tournaments. Roger Federer has triumphed five times in a row at Wimbledon and the United States Open.

Roger is the only player in history to achieve this goal in two different Majors: at the Championships, from 2003 to 2007 and at Flushing Meadows, from 2004 to 2008. There are many other records achieved by Roger Federer, some of which could be surpassed in the not too distant future, but these four records will hardly be surpassed in the years to come.
