Robyn Bernard, Famous “General Hospital” Actress, Found Dead at 64

Robyn Bernard, best known for her role in the hit soap opera “General Hospital,” has passed away at the age of 64.

Bernard’s body was discovered on Tuesday morning in San Jacinto, Calif., behind a business establishment, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office.

The actress, who portrayed the character Terry Brock on the long-running soap opera, was pronounced dead at 4:08 a.m.

The identity of the deceased was confirmed by the coroner’s office through fingerprint analysis, TMZ reported.

An autopsy was scheduled for Wednesday, with toxicology results expected to take some time to process.

Authorities have ruled out foul play in her death.

Born on May 26, 1959, in Gladewater, Texas, Robyn Bernard ventured into the entertainment industry with various minor television roles in series such as “Diva,” “Simon & Simon,” and “Betty Blue.”

In 1984, Bernard secured her breakthrough role as Terry Brock, also known as Terry O’Connor, in “General Hospital.” She portrayed the character for a total of 145 episodes until her departure in 1990.

Apart from her work on the soap opera, Bernard also appeared in shows like “Whiz Kids,” “The Facts of Life,” “Tour of Duty,” and “Kings for a Day.”

Robyn Bernard’s final credited role was in the 2002 film “Voices from High School,” after which she stepped back from the Hollywood scene.

Survived by her father, Jerry Wayne Bernard, and two sisters, Crystal and Scarlett, Bernard leaves behind a legacy of remarkable performances and unforgettable moments.
