Robin Le Gac, the regional Breton of the stage

Arrived during the last season within Blanc Mesnil SF, the restless 24-year-old midfielder born in Vannes, Robin Le Gac was kind enough to answer us following the meeting won in N3 on the lawn of the Paris reserve SG (0-1).

Robin, what would be your analysis regarding this meeting?

I think that we showed great collective solidarity in this match. There was a huge outburst of energy from everyone because we still suffered a lot and conceded several occasions. We were really effective on one of our only occasions and we can remember, above all, the positive mood of the whole group.

Did you doubt after the faux pas conceded at home against Versailles (0-2)?

No, despite the fact that in the first game we didn’t manage to set up what we wanted to do, we still gave a lot in terms of effort and we knew it was going to be rewarded.

How was your first season as an individual?

Rather good, I have participated in almost all of the games throughout the season. Even if I would have liked to be more decisive, it is on this that I have a few regrets.

To draw a parallel with the Ile-de-France League, what differences do you see with that of Brittany?

I will say that there is more intensity in the Ile de France, no match is easy and everyone can beat everyone. There are also very good players in this championship and very good individuals. On the other hand, tactically I think that the level is higher in Brittany, collectively the teams are perhaps more experienced.
