New Year’s resolutions Robbie Williams they don’t go through quitting smoking or losing weight (supposedly, after years of struggling to quit, he finally got it on January 1, 2019 when he switched from cigarettes to boxing). His abundant aspirations for this 2023 are other and most varied. The English artist has revealed that he has written so many songs that he wants to release not one, but two new albums. He also claims that, among other things, he is building his own luxury hotel in Dubai. We don’t know if he will give time to everything because much of the year he will be busy with the European tour with which he commemorates the 25th anniversary of his solo career (with LOS40 as the official station in Spain). In addition, he will continue shooting his biopic Better Man.
“I have two albums coming out very soon”
The English star does not suffer from the so-called ‘writer’s block’. As he has announced on his ‘Robbie Williams Rewind’ podcast, he has accumulated such a quantity of new compositions that he could release several albums. “I have two albums coming out very soon”, advances the artist. And he continues: “I have a trunk of new stuff from Lufthaus (his electronic music project of him with Tim Metcalfe and Flynn Francis). I could make three albums like Robbie Williams. New things have been written that will excite you. I want to release an album before the summer”.
It seems that Robbie has been on good terms with his muses for a long time because already at the beginning of 2022 he declared in The Sun: “I am constantly writing new songs. In three days I have written 27 songs. I have enough material for five or six albums.”
‘Rudebox 2’, Lufthaus or James Blunt: “But I change with the wind”
Likewise, Robbie has advanced that he has other projects on his hands. Another of Williams’ wishes for the new year is “to do more ‘Under the Radar’ concerts (demos, B-sides, rarities)” because he prefers to sing lesser-known songs on stage. But it won’t be in the UK. The chosen place is Dubai, famous resort town for the rich and famous, with its towering skyscrapers and man-made private islands. The author of ‘Angels’ has already launched the resort and tells it on his podcast: “Currently I’m building my own hotelso I will be able to do my own concerts in my own hotel. I have the opportunity to make my dreams even bigger. I have achieved everything I have achieved without even dreaming big.

What has been underway for some time is his big-budget biopic entitled ‘Better man’.
