Torrential rain, which continued its effect in Rize after Giresun, negatively affected life. Due to the intermittent rain in Güneysu, the water level of Salarha Creek increased.
There was a collapse in a part of the Rize-Güneysu highway, which was emptied due to the water. Municipality teams closed the pit and opened the road again for transportation.
45 VILLAGE ROAD CLOSED, 4 BUILDINGS EMPTY
While collapses occurred in the center of the district and some parts of the village roads, in a written statement made by the Rize governorship, it was stated that 45 village roads were closed throughout the province, 4 buildings in Başköy of Güneysu and Dağsu District of the center were evacuated for precaution and 30 people were placed in Rize teacher center.
