At Rewe Order groceries and have them delivered to your home? This is particularly useful for large families who usually have no time to shop extensively. Why not? The Rewe– Delivery service brings almost everything there is in the store.

That also thought Rewe-Customer Anne D. She had bought for a full 150 euros. When she got the delivery, she was shocked. Most of it just wasn’t done. Then she let her frustration out on Facebook.

Rewe: dispute sparked

On the Rewe page, she writes: “Since my twin pregnancy two years ago, you have found a permanent place in our life (and wallet). But today you really shot the bird: A good two thirds of my delivery (worth around € 150) was ‘forgotten’.

The mother of two cannot accept this. She complains to the Rewe hotline. But she receives nothing more than a hint that the purchase price will be reimbursed. She is very angry: “Then tomorrow the children won’t get breakfast. Well done! Also in terms of customer care. “

Another Facebook user asks what else Rewe could have done. A real dispute is sparked. Anne D. writes: “You already know that as a service provider you can’t just say, ‘I forgot, I didn’t have to pay’. I am certainly not concerned with the very friendly driver or the people in the warehouse who made a mistake, but with the behavior of the company in such cases. I personally find it under all cannons. “

The counter-comment: “Where people work, mistakes happen. And if you have no idea about the internal organization, please be so kind and hold back. “

This is Rewe:

  • Rewe is a supermarket chain
  • Rewe has around 3,300 stores in Germany
  • The supermarket publishes a brochure with offers every week
  • The opening times can vary depending on the market
  • Due to the corona virus, Rewe currently also requires a mask

Then the dispute subsides. Rewe himself speaks up and apologizes. You want to check what was wrong.

Rewe: Second complaint

Rewe customer Stella A. also had a similar experience. She also contacts the company via Facebook. There were also problems with your order. She was supposed to get two deliveries, but not everything went smoothly …

“A package was delivered on May 7, 2020. The other package was found to be damaged in transit and has been returned to Rewe since May 13, 2020. It’s been two weeks now. “

She still doesn’t know if she’ll get a refund or if she should get it.

Of course, the question arises: Why is it that the delivery problems occurred? An explanatory approach: because of Corona, people prefer to stay at home and order online. The additional effort could cause problems. (ldi)
