TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – The New BMW M3 Competition and The New BMW M4 Coupe Competition officially launched in Indonesia. These two cars adopt technology racing cars carried for use on the road.
Director of Communications BMW Group Indonesia Jodie O’tania said that the presence of these two new cars will strengthen BMW’s position as the best sports vehicle manufacturer in Indonesia.
“Coming with two concepts, one sedan with five-passenger space, the other a four-seater coupe, these two vehicles are here to fulfill the demands of Motorsport lovers and BMW fans in Indonesia,” said Jodie at the new car launch event, Wednesday, June 30, 2021.
The new BMW M3 Competition dan the new BMW M4 The Competition Coupe is both equipped with an in-line 6-cylinder engine with BMW M TwinPower Turbo Technology.
Through an 8-speed BMW M Steptronic transmission, the engine is capable of generating power reaching 510 hp at 6,250 rpm with red-line at 7,200 rpm. While the peak torque reaches 50 Nm from 2,750 to 5,500 rpm.
The New BMW M3 Competition dan The New BMW M4 Coupe Competition can accelerate from 0-100 km / h in just 3.9 seconds. Meanwhile, for acceleration from 0-200 km / h, it only takes 12.5 seconds.
This car is equipped with an Adaptive BMW M-suspension that can be controlled electronically. Then there are also other features such as BMW M-specific kinematics and elastokinematics for the front and rear axles.
Kemudian The New BMW M3 Competition dilengkapi dengan velg forged BMW M light-alloy Double-spoke style 825 M Bi-colour Jet Black burnished.
Meanwhile, The New BMW M4 Coupe uses BMW M light-alloy forged wheels, Double-spoke style 826 M Bi-colour Jet Black burnished with Translucent Shadow. The wheels are wrapped in tires measuring 275/35 R19 at the front and 285/30 R20 at the rear.
In appearance, the new generation BMW M3 and M4 Coupe carry BMW M-specific design features that are integrated into BMW’s modern design language. Both sport a vertical BMW kidney-grill with horizontal air grilles, wide fenders with BMW M gills at the front and an air grille at the front and rear aprons.
The headlights use Adaptive LEDs with BMW Laserlight. Both come in three color options, namely Sao Paulo Yellow, Toronto Red metallic, and Isle of Man Green metallic.
Entering the cabin, the new BMW M3 and M4 Coupe have a new BMW M Sport Seat that is electrically adjustable and comes with Merino fine-grain leather trim and complete with air vents.
In addition, these two cars are also equipped with the M Carbon interior package which not only includes the interior trim and central console, but is also refined to the application on the steering wheel and paddle shift for the first time.
Regarding the price, The New BMW M3 Competition will be offered at a price of IDR 2,059,000,000 off the road, while the BMW M4 Coupe will be sold at a price of IDR 2,119,000,000 off the road.
These two cars are also available in individual variants which are sold at a price of Rp. 2,599,000,000 off the road for M3 Competition Individual. Meanwhile, The New BMW M4 Competition Coupe Individual will be offered at a price of IDR 2,659,000,000 off the road.
