After the success of presenting the first generation folding screen cellphone, namely Galaxy Fold, Samsung gave birth to its successor. A number of improvements are included making the device named Galaxy Z Fold 2 it’s very alluring.

Samsung packs the Galaxy Z Fold 2 very nicely and is unlike most other phones. With a price of almost Rp.34 million, it is fitting that this cellphone be wrapped in a special box.
But all that was felt was not much when I saw directly the Mystic Bronze colored square object that was neatly stored in a black box. The word ‘wow’ spontaneously is spoken from the mouth.
The hand immediately grabbed it, looked around it, and tried to fold it. Gosh, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 really made me amazed, more than seeing its birth last month, even its predecessor was less stunning.

Luxury Design
Luxurious, one word describes the appearance of the Galaxy Z Fold. All sides are much more interesting than the Galaxy Fold which was released last year.
Like the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, the Mystic Bronze color can strengthen the premium impression. Samsung covers it with a glossy finish on the hinges and a haze texture on the back.
Speaking of hinges, Samsung made improvements. Combining the Hideaway hinge with the CAM mechanism allows the Galaxy Z Fold 2 to stand free so users can experience all the Flex mode experiences previously introduced on the Galaxy Z Flip.
Samsung is still applying sweeper technology on this cellphone to prevent dust or dirt from getting between the hinges. It’s just that in the Galaxy Z Fold 2 the space for this sweeper structure is made smaller, because it uses modified fibers to make the composition and density match.

The update brought by this cellphone adds to its weight to 282 grams, a difference of 21 grams from the Galaxy Fold. Even though it adds a little to the width of the body, this phone is still comfortable to hold.
The dimensions of the Galaxy Z Fold 2 actually still fit in the pants pocket, but the thickness and weight reduce comfort. It fits best in the inner pocket of the jacket.
If on the Galaxy Fold the power button and fingerprint sensor are made separately, now Samsung has put them together. It’s simpler and the fingerprint scanning process is quite fast.
This power button is placed on the right side along with the volume adjustment button. While on the left side there is only a single SIM Card slot. The speakers are placed at the top and bottom.
The position of the USB type C port is at the bottom of this phone. Unfortunately there is no 3.5 mm audio jack port. Even so in the purchase package, AKG earphones with a USB Type C plug are provided.

The most striking change from the Galaxy Z Fold 2 compared to its predecessor is the screen. Samsung seems to have heard complaints about the thick bezel and small cover screen on the Galaxy Fold. Now the successor carries a much more spacious screen with a thin bezel and adopts a punch hole, or Samsung calls it Infinity-O
The size is 6.2 inches from the previous 4.6 inches. A more spacious screen will certainly maximize when used to reply to messages, see directions and even watch videos. The panel used is Super AMOLED, presenting sharp colors and details.
As soon as the inside is opened the eyes will be greeted with a 7.6 inch main screen. The bezel is now made thinner and there is no notch.
But the real advantage of the inner screen of the Galaxy Z Fold2 is its image rendering. This South Korean vendor carries a Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel combined with an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, making the eye truly spoiled for color and smooth transitions. Game play is really satisfying.
The dual speakers on this phone spoil the ears. His voice was heard so loud. So it is cool to enjoy movies or series from streaming services, especially when it comes to features Dolby Atmos activated.
