Design

Legion 5i Pro carries a sports car-style design, slightly similar to its competitor, Asus ROG. The body is made of lightweight aluminum that dissipates heat quickly, with a large Legion “Y” logo that glows blue when the laptop is turned on. It’s catchy, but uniquely if the charger cable is not plugged in, the logo doesn’t light up.

This laptop has 4 ventilation channels. Two are located on the back, the other two on the left and right side of the laptop. On the top side of the screen there is a camera that can be turned off. The screen bezels are quite thin.

Even though it is a gaming laptop, the keyboard design is not “very gaming”. In fact, there is a number pad. Maybe after playing the game, the user also fiddles with the Excel file.

This white keyboard looks really good. In fact, the backlight of the keyboard is one color. The touchpad is quite large and responsive. Also there are no more right or left click buttons. Uniquely, its position does not fit in the middle. Maybe this is for ergonomic reasons. But, it often “squeezes” when typing.
