‘Rediscover the museum’ is the title of the last exhibition of the old Palacio del Espartero. A sample that makes use of seven characters from La Rioja, who have chosen a piece from each of the seven historical periods in which the museum is structured. And with them, seven local creators have made their own interpretation.
Actors Javier Cámara and Pepe Viyuela, the football team of the UD Logroñés, the journalist and presenter Ana Ibanez, the director of ESDIR Monica Yoldi, the oenologist Maria Vargas and the president of La Rioja herself, Concha Andreuare the seven relevant Rioja and Riojanas who have participated in the project in a selfless way, making different visits to the museum over the last few weeks, at the end of which they have freely selected seven pieces, one from each historical period.
Having done that, they have challenged seven creators from Rioja of different disciplines to reinterpret them: the chefs Iñaki Murúa and Carolina Sánchez, the potter Laura lasheras, the filmmaker Santiago Tabernero, the illustrator Antonia Santolaya, The architect Miguel Esteban, The designer Eva You’re welcome and the musicians Elijah and Ignatius.
