A retired police officer named Endang Supratman (65) was found dead in Balekamang Village, Cikunir Village, Singaparna District, Tasikmalaya, West Java. Endang was found dead in a sewer not far from his house.
“It is true that a body was found in a culvert. His identity is in the name of Endang Supratman. He is a former police officer at Polda Metro Jaya who has retired,” said Singaparna Police Chief AKP Glatiko Nagiewanto to detikjabar at the scene of the incident, Sunday (12/3/2023) as reported detikjabar.
Endang’s body was found this afternoon around 14.00 WIB. Endang was previously reported missing since Thursday (9/3).
“So he has been missing since Thursday but there has been no report to the Polsek, reports of missing people even though it has been for four days,” added Glatiko.
Police have examined a number of witnesses related to this incident. While the victim’s body was immediately taken to the District SMC Hospital Tasikmalaya to do an autopsy.
“The body was taken for a post mortem at the SMC Hospital. We don’t know why (the cause of death),” said Galatiko.
