LOSAIL – Sweet results achieved by the Petronas Yamaha SRT Team racer, Franco Morbidelli, in the third free practice session MotoGP Qatar 2021. Appearing at the Losail Circuit, Qatar, on Saturday (27/3/2021) evening WIB, Morbidelli appeared crazy and became the fastest in this session after recording his best time of 1 minute 54.676 seconds.
Morbidelli’s time was 0.165 seconds ahead of Aprilia Gresini Team racer Aleix Espargaro who trailed in second place. Then, the third position was occupied by the Sky VR46 Avintia Ducati Team racer, namely Luca Marini.
Marini’s time in free practice is just 0.179 seconds behind Morbidelli, who is the fastest. Then, the fourth position was filled by the Suzuki Ecstar Team racer, namely Alex Rins.

The top five position in the third free practice MotoGP Qatar 2021 is occupied by Fabio Quartararo (Monster Energy Yamaha). Quartararo’s time is 0.394 seconds adrift of Morbidelli who came out as the fastest.

Although a number of racers have managed to perform nicely, the aging racer of the Petronas Yamaha SRT Team, Valentino Rossi, has not been able to make a significant impact. He even dropped to 16th in this third free practice.
Apart from Rossi, the appearance of a number of the racers themselves failed to run smoothly in the third free practice session of MotoGP in 2021. Several racers have experienced incidents that make their performances fail to be optimal.
One of them was experienced by the 2021 MotoGP rookie, namely Enea Bastianini. He had problems with his motorbike while crossing the circuit. As a result, the Ducati satellite team racer occupies only 15th place in this test.
Likewise with the Aprilia Gresini Team racer, namely Aleix Espargaro. He had to fall while crossing the sixth corner. Luckily, Aleix Espargaro still managed to record a good time.
With this result, 10 riders are confirmed to appear in the second qualifying session of the Qatar MotoGP in 2021. They are Jack Miller, Francesco Bagnaia, Fabio Quartararo, Johann Zarco, Alex Rins, Maverick Vinales, Franco Morbidelli, Aleix Espargaro, Valentino Rossi, and Pol. Espargaro.
