Results and Updates: Municipal Elections in Bonares, Huelva Province – May 28th, 2021

A total of 4.156 electores will have to elect next Sunday, May 28, the municipal corporation of Bonares. They are summoned to the polls on a day in which ‘Huelva Information’ will bring you closer to the municipal elections. Starting at 8:00 p.m., when the polling stations close, the results will be progressively updated as the counting progresses.

The municipal elections left a result of eight councilors for the PSOE, four for the PP and one for the Independents. The current mayor is Juan Antonio García (PSOE).

A total of 281 candidates are competing on Sunday, May 28, the councilors of the 80 municipalities of the province of Huelvaincluding the capital, and the two ELAs (La Redondela and Tharsis) which represents a slightly lower figure compared to the 2019 elections, in which 291 were counted.

As published in the Official Gazette of the Province (BOP), the 80 municipalities of the province have more than one candidacy, since both PSOE and PP have presented mayors in all of them and the two ELAs (La Redondela and Tharsis).
