New Delhi: The Anti-Terrorist Cell of Karnataka has asked PDP Chairman Abdul Nasar Madani, who is accused in the Bengaluru blast case, not to allow him to go to Kerala. Madani is an accused in a case that affects the security and integrity of the country, the Karnataka government said in an affidavit filed in the Supreme Court.

Karnataka Anti Terrorism Cell Assistant Commissioner Dr. Sumeet filed the affidavit in the Supreme Court. If the bail conditions are relaxed, Madani is likely to go absconding. In an affidavit filed in the Supreme Court, the Karnataka Anti-Terrorism Cell has pointed out that the six accused who are yet to be arrested in the case may have contacted Madani, collected information and threatened witnesses.

Earlier, the Supreme Court had asked if the accused in the Bengaluru blast case, Abdul Nasser Madani, should be allowed to go to Kerala if the trial is over. The Supreme Court will consider Madani’s demand on Thursday.
